The disparaging reference to bloggers as people in pajamas has spurred me into action. I've just registered the domain Pajamabloggers.com - and will cheerfully work with the person who has the best proposal for how they want to use it.
FYI, I have also reserved cbsmemogate.com, and pajamasrevenge.com. I'm thinking that we need a site to aggregate the information coming in pro and con, which is currently quite fragmented. I have some ideas about that, but I'm interested in hearing others' thoughts and proposals as well (use comments or email "joe" here @windsofchange.net).
Besides, eliminating news anchor competitors to Canadian-born Peter Jennings was on the 1973 memo detailing Canada's 50-year plan to take over America. I will cheerfully supply copies of this memo to CBS, of course, if anyone doubts me....

"Weirdly... relevant" - Joe Katzman.
Great, now I have my endorsement quote when I start my blog! 8)
Heck, leave it up...
Yes Joe, but will the memos in question have the appropriate superscript?
I loathe Peter Jennings with the fire of a thousand suns. Lewy, is that Shakespeare or hate-speak?
Lewy, is that Shakespeare or hate-speak?
Dunno, but Shakespeare is one of those dead white males, which makes it suspicious.
Hey, is this a drinking thread? Oh wait, that's another blog.
OK, on topic, somewhat: I checked and as of now, jammynation.org, pajamanation.org, and others are still available.
As for a use for the domains, maybe some sort of "Carnival of the MSM Watch" kind of content focus, maybe using baysean classifiers to automate the filtering of a few thousand rss streams. If it could feed back out, it could be used to organize blog bursts on MSM-watch topics.
pajamasrevenge.com just screams to be a collaborative MSM fact-checking site.
I also like "The Pajama Factor"
and "the Pajama Revolution"
Bush was probably not a stellar performer, militarily, but then, he didn't base his candidacy on it either, the kerry camp did, to their everlasting regret.
The ironic thing about all this is that it looks like the left partisans have handed over the election to Bush, handed over CBS's viewer market to Fox, handed over news reliability to the blogosphere, and like a wierd Captain Bly, surrendered captainship of the vast information juggernaut to a bunch of misfits in pajamas.
Talk about "power to the people!"
Talk about a suicidal campaign.

How to use your Pajamabloggers.com -
I immediatley thought of Michele's post on her site.
Maybe a photo gallery? ;-)
OK I am a crass sexist
I DO wish we could get away from putting
gate on the back of every scandal
Why stick with a Leftist paradigm.
I prefer Baghdad Dan Rather a new
replacement for Baghdad Bob
You can even use one of Baghdad Bobs more
famous quotes.
""The American press is all about lies! All they tell is lies, lies and more lies!"
"I have detailed information about the situation...which completely proves that what they allege are illusions . . . They lie every day."
I own bunkumbuster.com. I haven't figured out what to do with it yet, but it's for sale.
It should be a collaborative MSM watch, like JimK and Sam_S suggested. But like Dan Kauffman suggested, each blogger who contributes must post a picture of himself or herself in pajamas. Or whatever they normally sleep in. Faces blurred if anonymity is requested. Other parts blurred if needed to keep the blog PG.
Bloggers can try to petition 09/13 as "Pajama Day" and the reference to "bloggers" to "writers in pajamas":

Awww, they're just jealous they can't wear their pajamas to work. It's called "freelancing". Give up your health insurance coverage and that ever so popular reliable paycheck and you too can work in your pjs. Although what Rather's wearing underneath that suit.... I'm reminded of a scene from the movie "Barcelona" regarding leather garters cinched a little too tightly.
When does the Googlebombing start?
60 Minutes
9/9 would be a better date. An MSM watch site sounds appropriate.
One possible use would be to display this collection.
Bloggers I'm most looking forward to in the collection: Gabrielle Reilly, Moxie
Bloggers I'm least looking forward to in the collection: Oliver Willis, Kim Du Toit, Steven Den Beste (sorry, SDB)
I vote some form of MSM watchdog fact checking group. If only to link to other blogs with detailed fact checking. Also needs to be as non-partisan as possible.
It already exists.
I think your pajamablogger site should be strictly news and serious commentary. Just to be OPPOSITE of what Dan Rather thinks we all are. We all know how much fun we have, but we need to have a totally serious news site. Just for us!
And thanks for not getting meninpajamasblogging, and forgetting us girls!;-)
Too funny - great idea.....I don't surf and blog in pajamas - I heard it was banned by the US Surgeon General and the CDC
Cheers
This is delicious!
Have you seen what the good reverend wears when he is blogging? Ladies, take note;
One Hand Clapping is where you will find this reverend, goodness me, Donald Sensing!
How about "pajamalamadingdong.com"?
