Most of it comes from outside the Middle East, of course, and "Western Muslims are certainly leading the global march." So be it. The Islamic Sufis have known for over 1,000 years just how effective humour can be against foolish rigidity and willful ignorance. In the right circumstances, jokes can be as deadly to an ossified, repressive culture as JDAMs. Fire away!
